Step inside Rolling Hills Asylum, where nearly two centuries of history and hauntings converge. Once a poorhouse, infirmary, orphanage, and nursing home, its halls have witnessed more than 1,700 deaths—and countless reports of shadow figures, phantom voices, unexplained footsteps and things that simply cannot be explained.
Your experience begins with an orientation and overview of the history, hauntings and people of Rolling Hills Asylum before you're turned loose to explore this massive historic property at your own pace, by daylight.
Along the way, discover the stories of those who lived, worked—and died—here through approximately 40 historical plaques, photographs and displays located throughout the buildings. Wander through some of the asylum's most storied spaces, taking the time to absorb details you might otherwise miss.
This isn't simply a walk through an old building. It's an opportunity to experience Rolling Hills differently—to explore its history, architecture and atmosphere while discovering the very real people and stories behind the paranormal reputation that has made Rolling Hills Asylum famous around the world.
By daylight, history speaks a little louder here... but every now and then, something else whispers back.
Ticket Info: 18+ with valid ID. Ages 14–17 permitted with parent and pre-authorization at least FIVE days in advance of event date.
Parking: 30 minutes before scheduled time | Check-in: Promptly 15 minutes prior to scheduled time | No late entry.
Bag rules & restrictions apply. No outside food/drinks. Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes required. The facility is NOT heated—dress appropriately.
